Sandy Griffin is the private patrolman and operations manager at Griffin Security Solutions. Sandy was an active duty airman stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas from 2003 to 2011. After returning from his first deployment to Iraq in 2006, he became interested in pursuing additional work in the security field. Despite still being an active-duty service member, Sandy worked full-time for a variety of security companies in the area throughout his time in the Air Force.

After his time in the military, Sandy continued to gain experience through his employment in the security field, including numerous management positions. He also completed extensive coursework in law enforcement and criminal justice, including completion of the coursework for both the Southern Regional Desert Police Academy and the Silver State Law Enforcement Academy.

Sandy is in a unique position to apply this training with his professional security experience along with his extensive knowledge of the Las Vegas valley. His knowledge of Nevada law and its applications in security allow Sandy to effectively serve both the company and its clients, limiting liability, and providing high-quality services tailored to our city’s unique needs.

After working in all types of security roles in a variety of environments, Sandy realized that there was not only a growing need for security, but a need for a different approach in the industry. He has developed unique expertise from both his law enforcement training and experience working for other security companies.

With over a decade of hands-on security experience in the Las Vegas area, Sandy has the expertise needed to identify and analyze clients’ security needs and develop unique solutions based on these assessments. Sandy’s goal is to use the benefits of his knowledge about the most effective methods of security, while avoiding the issues and concerns he identified while working for other companies.
